Kathleen M. Ebert

Katie Ebert graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in English, with honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she graduated in the top of her class and was awarded First Honors in Trial Advocacy. During law school, Katie gained practical experience as a law clerk in the Education Advocacy Program at the Disability Rights Legal Center in Los Angeles. Through her work in the center advocating for students with disabilities, she was honored by Loyola Law School with the Jenine Meltzer Memorial Scholarship.

Katie developed her civil litigation and administrative advocacy skills as an associate with Ellis Law Group prior to joining Young, Minney, & Corr, LLP. Katie has experience in administrative agency hearings and state and federal court representing public and private agencies in various matters including, commercial, consumer, legal malpractice, and employment matters, and class action litigation. Katie utilizes her background in education law and civil litigation to focus on such matters as administrative hearings, due process hearings, state and federal litigation, and appellate work.
