Brian T. Geremia

Brian Geremia’s primary area of practice is charter development. Prior to joining Young, Minney & Corr, Brian co-founded Academic Impact, a tutoring company that provides one-on-one tutoring to students in Sacramento. He also founded Game Plan Academy, a leadership development camp for Sacramento student-athletes, and the Ancestral Health Society, a nonprofit organization that produces an annual academic symposium on health, nutrition, and food policy.

Brian has long been interested in education. As an undergraduate, he studied secondary education and education policy, interned at the State Board of Education, and volunteered at Verbum Dei High School, which operates on the innovative Cristo Rey model of education. Brian later interned at a lobbying firm representing school districts and taught at Mustard Seed School, a temporary school for homeless children in Sacramento. His experience in education, combined with his interest in business, law, and policy, led him to Young, Minney & Corr’s charter development team.

Brian Geremia graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Loyola Marymount University. He received his Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where he made the Dean’s Honor List, served as staff writer and Chief Online Editor of the McGeorge Law Review, and represented low income clients through the McGeorge Elder and Health Law Clinic. During law school, Brian served as a summer law clerk at a firm representing hospitals in medical malpractice cases.
